Ukraine Officially Launches NFT Titled Museum of War

Ukraine officially launched the NFT collection titled Museum of War last Friday. This is done as a form of fundraising for his country which is currently being affected by the invasion from Russia.

As we both know, Ukraine is still covered in tears because the Russian military is still bombarding the country led by Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As a result, the wheels of the economy in Ukraine were disrupted by this invasion.

To outsmart this, the Ukrainian government also sold an NFT token where all the proceeds from the sale will be used to help its citizens and revive the wheels of the Ukrainian economy.

NFT Titled Museum of War Officially Launched By Ukraine

Launching from South China Morning Post via Sindonews, “Meta History: Museum of War” is a token with digital concept images of the invasion activities experienced by Ukraine, including silhouettes of fighter planes, screenshots of news reports, and cartoon-style images of explosions.

As mentioned above, this collection was created by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the aim of raising funds and providing financial support to the country.

“The new NFT series is intended to spread correct information among the digital community in the world and to collect donations for Ukraine’s support,” Ukraine wrote on its official website.

According to a report released by Bloomberg, this NFT is sold at a price of 0.15 ether or more than USD475. Every time there is a buyer, the money will go directly to the Kiev digital wallet.

Ukraine has recently opened up donations using cryptocurrencies, following the popularity of this digital currency which has been used by many people.

In fact, Ukraine already has a special website that is used to accept donations in the form of crypto currency, the site is Aid for Ukraine.

This site accepts various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, Polkadot, Solana, Dogecoin, Monero, ICON, and Neo N3. In addition, the Ukrainian government also provides a service where you can make donations in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and CAD currencies.
