Director Morbius Says His Film Will Still Be Connected To Venom

Morbius director Daniel Espinosa revealed that the film will still be connected to Venom. However, he admitted that the connection was a bit confusing, guys.

Yep, Marvel phase 4 does indeed present an interesting Multiverse story, so that some MCU characters may appear in a world that is not actually where they live. The concept of the Multiverse was explained in the film Spider-Man: No Way Home, after it first appeared in the comic The Avengers #85 (1971).

Now, Marvel Studios wants to return to using this concept in their latest film, Morbius. As a result, several ‘surprise’ characters will certainly appear in the film, including Venom.

Morbius Still Has A Connection With Venom?

In an interview, Daneil Esponosa openly explained that Michael Morbius lives in the same world as Venom.

“Morbius lives in the same universe as Venom. This is the universe we saw Venom come out of at the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage and return to the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home.” ComicBook.

When asked if Spider-Man would appear in the film, Espinosa replied that Spidey would ‘drop in’ in the Morbius and Venom universes, but he did not explain which version of Spider-Man he was referring to.

“Of course, according to my understanding, the audience will soon find the answer,” concluded Espinosa.

On the other hand, Jared Leto who became the main actor in the film Morbius expressed his desire to meet Spider-Man. He admitted that he would really like it if he was face to face with the spider man.

“Yeah, I would love to be in the ring with Spider-Man,” said Jared Leto.

Furthermore, he said that it was Tom Holland’s version of Spider-Man that he really wanted to face in the film.

I think Tom Holland is amazing, and we’re going to be a pretty dynamic two, I think.”
