PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor Chosen to be Sports at the 2022 Asian Games

Tencent has announced that PUBG Mobile will be seen at the 2022 Asian Games. This will be the first time the Asian Games have added esports as a medal contest. However, the Asian Games have allowed Esports events in 2022 as a demonstrative sport. But for the first time, at the 2022 Asian Games, Esports will make its official debut with eight games, including PUBG Mobile and Arena of Valor.

2022 Asian Games

Every four years, the best athletes from all over Asia compete for medals for their countries. The 2022 Asian Games is a multi-sport event to be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. 10 September to 25 September 2022. This year’s Asian Games will be different from the previous ones as they will also include Oceania for the first time, which has been approved by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). That’s not all, either. Esports will also be included as a medal contest next year. This will be the 37th sport played. There will be eight medal sports and two demonstrative sports in the Esports category.

PUBG Mobile and Esports

PUBG Mobile has broken many records since its release in the esports scene. Each season has different themes, dresses, emotes, weapon skins. Each weapon has a different skin with a kill effect, and the loot creates a look that makes each weapon unique in its own way.
