Love and Thunder Becomes the 4th Most Viewed Trailer in the MCU

Thor: Love and Thunder is the 4th most watched trailer in the MCU in 24 hours. Widih, it’s really funny, guys!

As we all know, after a long wait, the first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder was finally released by Marvel Entertainment on Monday (18/4) yesterday.

In a short time, the 1 minute 30 second trailer which was uploaded through the official Marvel channel was immediately invaded by the fans. Within 24 hours, this trailer was watched hundreds of millions of times.

Thor: Love and Thunder Takes Position 4 as MCU’s Most-Viewed Trailer

Recently, through the account Twitter Marvel officially announced that the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder has been watched 209 million times in just 24 hours.

“The strongest Avengers in the world with the best fans in the world! Thanks for 209 million views in 24 hours!” wrote Marvel Studios in the caption.

According to a report from Variety, the achievement automatically ranks Thor: Love and Thunder as the MCU’s most-watched trailer for 24 hours. Currently, the film directed by Taika Waititi is in 4th position, guys.

At the top position, still held by the trailer of Spider-Man: No Way Home which managed to donate 355.5 million viewers from 24 hours of broadcast. Second, there is the trailer for Avengers: Endgame which has reached 289 million viewers globally.

Meanwhile, the third and fourth positions are occupied by Avengers: Infinity War (230 million) and Thor: Love and Thunder (209 million).

The first trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder is set in time after the events of Avengers: End Game which claimed the lives of several members of the Avengers. At this time, Thor retired from being a superhero and chose to spend the rest of his life in activities that are useful and make himself happy.

Besides Chris Hemsworth, this trailer also features several other actors, such as Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Russel Crowe as Zeus and of course Natalie Portman who plays The Mighty Thor.

At the end of the trailer, the audience was surprised when Natalie Portman aka Jane Foster is now able to summon and lift Thor’s hammer named Mjolnir. This action certainly makes Thor confused.
