“Yes, the role of Batman is actually interesting to me. However, that is his (Snyder) decision, not mine. Again, it could be something either a failure or a success. I like to play with opportunities like that. I was like, ‘Am I going to be the one to make it all go down?’” Brolin said.

Furthermore, Brolin thought it would be fun if he and DC agreed to work together in the Batman v Superman film. Unfortunately, this collaboration could not be implemented, because the offer made by DC was finally taken up by Ben Affleck.

“Once again, the opportunity to be Batman came before Deadpool 2 (2022). My version of Batman is going to be older and more hoarse. Honestly, it would be a nice deal and maybe I’ll get another chance when I’m 80.”

However, his disappointment can be cured a little because he managed to star in the Deadpool 2 film, which plays Cable. On the other hand, Ben Affleck is rumored to be back as Batman in the film The Flash (2023) which is claimed to be his last action as a batman.
