Jim Carrey Considers Retiring From Acting

Legendary actor Jim Carrey is reportedly considering retiring from the world of acting that has made his name. He has already planned what activities he will do after retirement.

Who doesn’t know Jim Carrey? This Canadian-American actor has often been milling about in hollywood films, especially films that carry the comedy genre, so his name is already known by movie geeks.

After starting his acting career in 1990, the actor whose real name is James Eugene Carrey is also planning to take a break from acting and focus on his new hobby, namely painting.

“I might retire. I am not kidding. “It depends, if one day there’s a really good script where I’m really important and people want to see it, maybe I’ll come back, but obviously I’m going to take a break,” said Jim Carrey.

Then, Jim will focus on painting and some of his spiritual activities that can make him feel calm. Of course, he never got this during his time as a celebrity.

“I like my quiet life and I love painting on canvas and my spiritual life. I can’t get that as a celebrity. I’ve contributed a lot and I feel, this is enough,” he continued.

If so, then Sonic The Hedgehog 2 will be Jim Carrey’s last film before he actually retires. In this film, he plays the role of Dr. Eggman and competed acting with several other hit actors, such as Idris Elba, James Marsden, Colleen Villard and many others.
