Hearing the commotion, Twitter finally opened its voice by saying, “To experience the most recent Twitter experience on iOS, download the latest version in the app store or visit twitter.com in your browser,” wrote Twitter in the official announcement.

This is because the iPhone 6 is not getting any more operating system updates from Apple. Currently, the operating system on the iPhone 6 is only up to iOS 12.5.5.
