Jason Momoa One Step Away to Star in Minecraft Live-Action Movie

Joseph Jason Namakaeha Momoa is an American actor, who started his career in acting after his successful role as Jason Loane in the drama series Baywatch: Hawaii. His name is increasingly recognized by many people, after starring in the science fiction series Stargate Atlantis, Game of Thrones, Frontier, and of course Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) since 2022.
Now, the actor who was born on August 1, 1979 is projected to play a role in the live-action film, which is based on a legendary game called Minecraft.
Jason Momoa to Star in Minecraft Live-Action Movie?
Reported from Variety, the Aquaman film star is reportedly in the process of negotiating to star in the live-action Warcraft. According to other reports, the long-haired actor is just one step away from reaching an agreement with the film.

Behind the scenes, director Jared Hess was appointed to lead the production of this film. Mojang Studios, which incidentally is the developer of the Minecraft game, is reported to be co-producing the film, assisted by Lydia Winters and Vu Bui.
Minecraft itself is a legendary game that has been on the air since 2011. In this game, you can create your own 3D world, using the colorful blocks provided by the game’s developer, Markus Persson.
In 2022, the game has 100 million monthly active users. After one year, the monthly users shot up to 140 million. Until now, Minecraft is still the most popular game by many people.
Minecraft movie projects have been talked about for years. Initially, in 2022 Mojang Studios appointed Shawn Levy to work on the live action film. However, in 2022 Shawn was replaced by Rob McElhenney and the film is slated for release at least in 2022.
Unfortunately, the director decided to leave this project. As a result, the making of this film stalled and finally Warner Bros. decided to postpone the making of this film.

And now, Warner Bros. and Mojang Studios want to return to work on the film while hoping that this project will actually materialize, so that the film can be watched by fans soon.
