Interested in the Genshin Impact reputation system? The Genshin Impact 1.1 update arrived on November 11, bringing with it a plethora of new characters, story content, and more. Ahead of this, miHoYo finally breaks down what its new reputation system looks like, and how to reap the rewards. Here’s an overview of the changes and additions the new reputation system will bring.
What exactly is Genshin Impact’s reputation system?
According to MiHoYo, the reputation system will be tied to in-game cities and NPCs. By interacting with NPCs, players can unlock new quality of life items, requests, and other rewards such as creating blueprints, business cards, and new features within the city.
How to open the reputation system
Like other features in Genshin Impact, the city’s reputation system is locked behind Adventure Rank levels. For tourists who have played religiously, opening the city reputation quest should be automatic, as those players are likely already above Adventure Rank 25.
Mondstadt
In Mondstadt, players must reach Adventure Rank 25 and complete the Archon quest ”The Outlander Who Caught the Wind’ Prologue: Act I’. This quest appears early in the game — within the first few hours.
After unlocking the reputation system, talk to the Knights of Favonius Coordinator, Hertha, to check what rewards, requests and more are available.
Liyue
To unlock Liyue city’s reputation system, players must reach Adventure Rank 25 and complete the ‘Farewell, Archaic Lord’ Chapter I: Act II’ Archon quest. This quest appears at the beginning of the story chapter in Liyue Harbor.
After opening the Liyue city reputation system, check with the Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Ms. Yu, at Liyue Harbor.

How to quickly get reputation points in Genshin Impact
There are four different ways to increase your reputation in Genshin Impact:
Region Quest: Complete various quests around each city and earn reputation points. At this moment, it seemed that this quest would not be limited to the city limits, but rather cover every region of Mondstadt and Liyue.
Weekly Bounties: Every week in each city, completing three different bounty hunts will increase points and reputation rank. This gift will refresh every Monday.
Exploration: For players who like to explore the world of Teyvat, this will likely be the fastest way to increase reputation rankings. Every chest unlocked, waypoint visited, and every oculi element collected will contribute to the reputation ranking in each city.
Weekly Request: Similar to rewards, three different requests can be completed for reputation points each week in each city. This request will also refresh on Monday.
Prize: Mondstadt
Prizes for the ranks of the city of Mondstadt reputation are as follows:
Recipe: Northern Apple Stew
Anemoculus Resonance Stone made blueprints and Mondstadt Mining Outcrop Search: To use this, head to the crafting bench and find the blueprint. Use five Dandelion Seeds, five Cecila and one Crystal Chunk to craft items. This item can only be used in Mondstadt, as it finds anemoculi within the small radius marked on the map. This item has a cooldown of 300 seconds and cannot be used again until after the anemoculi have been found, or if there are several nearby.
To use the Mondstadt Mining Outcrop Search, head to Wagner the Blacksmith in Mondstadt. He will mark all the ore deposit locations in the area with crystals on the map. Crystal ore can be obtained from this deposit and after reaching Adventure Rank 30. Magic crystal pieces can also be mined.
Wind Catcher forging blueprint: Head over to the craft bench and craft this item. When equipped, it will store up to five anemograna creatures for later use in the desired location.
Player business card styles and recipes: The Adventurer’s Breakfast Sandwich.
Mondstadt merchant discount: Discounts on Good Hunter and Mondstadt General Goods are unlocked.
NRE (Menu 30) forge blueprints: Go to a forge to make this item. When equipped, it will act as a shortcut to consume food without having to open the inventory. It will automatically withdraw what it thinks the team needs in the situation, and will also withdraw resurrection items if a party member faints.
Portable Waypoint craft blueprint : On the crafting table, make a Portable Waypoint. Use it to create temporary waypoints at the desired location. Only one waypoint can exist at a time, and has a cooldown of 60 seconds. Creating a new waypoint in this way will destroy the previous one. These waypoints will disappear after seven days.
Anemo Treasure Compass forge blueprints: At forging, make Anemo Treasure Compass. When used, this item will find a chest nearby. This item can only be used in Mondstadt. If there is no chest nearby, it will cool down in five seconds. If a chest is found, it will have a cooldown of 30 seconds.

The rewards for the Liyue city reputation ranks are as follows:
Recipe: Golden Shrimp Ball
Blueprint for making Geoculus Resonance Stone and Liyue Mining Outcrop Search: To use this, head to the crafting bench and find the blueprint. This item can only be used in Liyue, because it finds geoculi in a small radius that will be marked on the map. This item has a cooldown of 300 seconds and cannot be used again until after a geoculi has been found, or if there are several geocules nearby.
To use Liyue Mining Outcrop Search, go to Master Zhang the Blacksmith in Liyue. This will mark all ore deposit locations in the area with crystals on the map. Crystal pieces can be obtained from this deposit. After reaching Adventure Rank 30, pieces of magic crystal can also be mined.
Thick resin: On the crafting bench, craft this gadget with 1 Crystal Core, 40 Genuine Resin, and 100 Mora. This item can be used to revive the Ley Line Flower and Petrified Tree in the Domain which requires 20 Genuine Resin for the reward to be collected twice.

Liyue merchant discount: Discounts at Wanmin Restaurant and Second Life are unlocked.
Adepti Seeker Stove craft blueprint: Head to the craft bench to make this item. When equipped, it will make stoves on command. It has a cooldown of 300 seconds and will break if a battle is entered nearby. After cooldown, the stove will disappear.
Geo Treasure Compass forge blueprints: On forging, create a Geo Treasure Compass. When used, this item will find a chest nearby. This item can only be used on Liyue – if there is no chest nearby, it will cool down in five seconds. If a chest is found, it will have a cool down of 30 seconds.
