Easy Ways to Check NISN for Elementary, Middle, and High Schools Online (Update 2021)
NISN or commonly known as the National Student Identification Number is a code number given by the government to students that is unique, standard and valid for life, meaning that each student has a different NISN throughout Indonesia, both domestically and abroad.

NISN is given to all students or students who attend education units that have NPSN and the school is registered with the Ministry of Education and Culture Reference.
However, some students sometimes do not know their own NISN because it may be a parent’s fault at the time of re-registration or it could be due to the negligence of the school. Because the student’s NISN is not listed in the report card or in attendance. So, because of this, there are many cases of grade 9 and grade 12 not being able to take the UN because there is no NISN. There are two ways to find out, first you can visit the Ministry of Education and Culture office directly or use the second method, namely online with Internet access.

1. The first step is to open the Ministry of Education and Culture website through the HP or PC browser that you usually use. Please access https://nisn.data.kemdikbud.go.id/index.php/Cindex/caribynama/
2. Next click the Name Search menu.

3. After that, enter the Student’s Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth and Mother’s Name.

4. If you have entered your personal data correctly, please click Search.

5. Wait until the search process is complete, the NISN you are looking for will appear.
6. Done, you have successfully checked your NISN via the Internet.
