MLBB publishes official statement regarding a lawsuit against them regarding copyright

In the past few days, rumors have been circulating in multiple media outlets that Riot is suing Moonton as the developer of Mobile Legends for copyright infringement (copyright infringement). This has become a lively conversation among gamers, with even the news that ML is being closed and removed from the Google PlayStore.

This was quickly denied by Moonton, stating that Mobile Legends is an independently developed MOBA game by Moonton and the copyright to it is registered and protected in several countries around the world. Moonton owns independent intellectual property rights.

An official statement was issued by Moonton, which was posted on the Facebook fan page.

OFFICIAL DECLARATION (translation)

Recently, several media outlets published negative and unreal reports against Mobile Legends. Here is a statement from Moonton:

Mobile Legends is a MOBA game that was developed independently by Moonton and whose copyrights are registered and protected in several countries around the world. Moonton owns independent intellectual property rights.

Mobile Legends and all users (players) will not be affected by the unreal reports and we will continue to provide the best gameplay experience for players around the world.

In the meantime, we reserve the right to protect us and take legal action on behalf of some media outlets and competitors who have spread unreal information and rumors against us. Many Thanks.
