Is Project Next really changing the MLBB game completely?

What’s wrong with Project Next Mobile Legends (MLBB)?

Online multiplayer battle arena game or generally MOBA from Montoon, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is carrying out a massive update update.

With the MLBB game update with the theme “Project Next”, which was just introduced last time, various aspects of the game, such as graphics and game mechanics, have been changed by Montoon.

The game updates should bring good news like improvements and optimizations. Some of the MLBB Moba players seem dissatisfied with the update this time around and are complaining on social media about game changes after the update has run.

One thing that most people complain about is the visual quality of the game, especially the characters known as heroes and the overall appearance, which is now considered to be worse than before.

In addition to the discussion of heroes, the appearance of the equipment in the game and the jungle mechanism are also undergoing a revision. Some players complained about this change, which made it difficult for them to adapt to MLBB.

First of all, all heroes can use jungle items for them, it can be easier to farm various forest monsters aiming to get gold, experience or heri quickly.

However, after the Next project it is different where players have to use battle spells like retribution so they can buy jungle items.

Retribution is one of 12 combat spells that help players kill forest monsters and level up heroes. Battle spells must be selected as needed before entering the game, as the battle spell cannot be changed during the game.

Not to mention, the top and bottom lanes have now been replaced with new terms, namely “Gold Lane” for the top lane and “Exp Lane” for the bottom lane.

As the name suggests, the Exp Lane path is said to be suitable for fighter or tank type heroes to gain additional experience points. Meanwhile, Gold Lane is made for sniper heroes so they can get extra gold to dominate the game.

According to some players, the changes Moonton made through “Project Next” even seem to “cheat” competitive games like Arena of Valor (AoV) and League of Legends (LoL Wild Rift).

The existence of this Project Next update is aimed not only at improving the overall visual appearance of MLBB, but also to match or balance the strengths of the heroes of their respective roles.

Montoon made a statement that his party will make various adjustments to the Project Next update over time. “We will continue to monitor this final adjustment and may adjust it again at a later time depending on how it is implemented in the game,” said Montoon.
