Samsung Metaverse Coming Soon, Making It Faster!

Samsung is reportedly ready to present its own Metaverse and is currently being accelerated by related parties. Hmm, about when, guys, is the release?

For those who don’t know, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. is a multinational electronics company headquartered in Yeongtong District, Suwon, South Korea. The company is the core of Samsung’s chaebol, having accounted for 70% of the group’s total revenue in 2012.

Now, the company which was founded on January 13, 1969, has surprisingly entered the world of Metaverse, following other technology companies that have already dived into the sea of ​​Metaverse which are claimed to be able to increase the value of the companies that practice it.

Samsung Speeds Up Development Of Its Own Metaverse

Recently, Han Jong-hee as vice chairman of Samsung told a number of parties that Samsung would launch its own Metaverse and asked its employees to share their interesting ideas for this latest innovation.

“We will create a Samsung version of the metaverse. Please come up with lots of ideas and help make them happen,” said Han Jong-hee The Economic Times.

Furthermore, in his official statement, Han said that this version of Metaverse was launched to allow loyal customers to experience technological developments wherever they are.

“We will launch metaverse devices and solutions to allow customers to experience new technologies wherever they are,” said Han Jong-hee.

He also made a similar statement at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 event in Barcelona, ​​Spain last February. At that time, Han confirmed that his party was focusing on working on Metaverse and hoped that the process could be completed in the near future.

“We are working on a metaverse device, which is the talk of the town right now. The preparations went well. Please look forward to its launch,” he explained.

Samsung does look very serious in creating virtual reality, this is evidenced when Samsung officially built a virtual concept store in January. The store is the Samsung 837X, which incidentally is its flagship store in New York.
