Patrick Stewart Will Still Be Involved In Next MCU Project

Actor Patrick Stewart admits that he will continue to be involved in the next MCU project, at least for the next few years. It is certain that he will still play the iconic Professor X.

Sir Patrick Stewart OBE is a legendary British actor who has starred in a series of famous Hollywood films. Some of the films he has starred in are Logan, Green Room, X-Men, Masterminds, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Star Trek: Generations and many others.

Finally, the 81-year-old actor also enlivened the latest MCU project in the film entitled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Apparently, the film is not the end of his adventures in the MCU universe, you guys!

When interviewed with Variety Regarding the possibility of returning in the next MCU project, the bald-headed actor bluntly said he was still interested in taking part in the project.

“(Role as) Charles Xavier? Yes, of course,” Stewart explained.

Furthermore, Stewart explained that the X-Men comic series is very large and wide, so the possibility of returning to play Charles Xavier is still very possible.

“That might happen. As you know, the entire X-Men comic series is huge, and also vast, maybe there’s a chance for him [Professor X] to come back again. We will see later.” he continued.

As we both know, Patrick Stewart has really started to dive into the MCU universe thanks to his role as Professor X in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In the film directed by Sam Raimi, he is present with the Illuminati group and uses the iconic yellow wheelchair.

He also admitted that he had difficulty operating the wheelchair, although at first he was worried about his safety when riding the object.

“It was a very fast wheelchair, very manipulative. And when I first saw the monster I was going to ride here, I was disappointed,” Stewart said.

“But it’s fine. This works very well. I had to stop him before climbing the stairs. That was my only concern, was that I would somehow get out of control and go down the stairs with this thing! But it’s a very, very different world from the “X-Men” movies, with references here and there, of course. But I’m very, very happy.”
