Genshin Impact Holds University Invitational UK's First Esports Tournament

Can Genshin Impact become the esports scene? Wow, sounds interesting and makes you curious, of course. As we know, Genshin Impact is an MMORPG game, so what will the competitive arena be like? Well, developer HoYoverse (formerly miHoYo) is working with a UK-based esports media group, ginx tv, hosted the “University Invitational UK” competitive tournament.

So far, there have been many community tournaments in China and other regions, but the UK University Invitational will be the first official event to pit teams against each other in the Genshin Impact game.

Unlike the nine university divisions, the team with the most votes in the Social Team division will advance directly to the final round which will take place in London on 28 May.
