Atletico Madrid Sponsored WhaleFin Crypto Platform For Next Season

The football club Atletico Madrid is officially sponsored by a crypto platform called WhaleFin to navigate the 2022-2023 season that is in sight. From this collaboration, Atletico Madrid is reported to have made huge profits, you know, guys!

Club Atletico de Madrid SAD or commonly known as Atlético Madrid is a football club that currently competes in the highest caste of the Spanish league, namely La Liga Santander. With a series of achievements he has, making Atletico Madrid as one of the top European clubs, especially in Spain.

Now, Atleti is starting to explore the world of cryptocurrency by collaborating with crypto platforms as their main sponsor. That way, the cryptocurrency trend will certainly be more widespread.

Atletico Madrid Partners With WhaleFin Crypto Platform For 2022-2023 Season

According to a report from Atletico Madrid’s official website, the club currently commanded by Diego Simeone will work with WhaleFin with a duration of 5 years, starting from 2022 to 2027.

“Our collaboration with WhaleFin will last for the next five years,” explained the ATM.

Later, WhaleFin will replace the presence of Plus500 which has been attached to the Atl Madrid jersey for the past few years.

Plus500 itself is a global fintech company that provides online trading services in contracts for difference, across more than 2,500 financial instruments. Founded in 2008, the name of this company is increasingly recognized thanks to sponsoring the Atlético Madrid jersey since 2022.

However, the cooperation must now end after both parties agreed not to extend his contract. As a result, WhaleFin immediately moved quickly to replace Plus500 as the main sponsor of the Atletico Madrid jersey.

It is known, from this collaboration Atl Madrid earned an income of 42.1 million dollars or equivalent to Rp. 606.24 billion per year. Of course, this figure does not include the bonuses that are in their contract.

That figure is three times more than what Atl Madrid got when sponsored by Plus500. According to several sources, Atl Madrid earns only US$17.9 million or Rp. 257.76 billion rupiah per year from its partnership with Plus500.

From the funds that enter the club’s account balance, it can be used to buy new players in the transfer market next summer or create new projects for the benefit of Atletico Madrid.
