Will Smith has finally officially apologized to Chris Rock and the entire Oscar 2022 committee, for his actions that slapped Chris Rock in the face during the reading of the nominations for the Best Documentary Features category.

Oscar 2022 will most likely be an award night event that will be unforgettable for a lifetime by people movie geek. The reason is, there was an incident that was quite surprising when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, shortly after he mocked his wife who now looked bald.

Suddenly, the incident was in the spotlight and was trending on several social media. For the commotion, Will Smith finally apologized to the parties involved.

On Tuesday (29/3), Will Smith apologized profusely to Chris Rock and the entire Oscar 2022 committee for the slapping incident he did at the event.

He admitted that the incident could not be forgiven. Even so, he said that jokes about his wife’s medical condition should not be used as jokes.

“Violence in all its forms is toxic and destructive. My behavior at the Academy Awards last night was unacceptable and unforgivable. Jokes I think are part of the job but jokes about Jada’s medical condition are too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally,” he wrote.

Not to forget, he ‘legowo’ apologized to Chris and admitted that he made a mistake and was ashamed of what he had done to Chris.

“I want to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong. I’m shy and my actions don’t show the man I want. There is no place for violence in the world of love and kindness.”
