This news was obtained from WABetaInfo, which says that the feature has been seen in WhatsApp beta for Android versions 2.22.8.5, 2.22.8.6, and 2.22.8.7. For iOS, you can find it at version 22.7.0.76.

Previously, WhatsApp only allowed users to send a file with a maximum size of 100 MB. Of course, this policy reaps a lot of complaints from its users.

Therefore, Meta’s messaging application has officially tested its new feature where users will be able to send files up to 2 GB in size.
