PUBG: New State to Collaborate with NieR

The wildly popular battle royale title PUBG: New State has just announced that a collaboration event with the equally popular JRPG series NieR will be hosting in-game in the near future.

PUBG: New State has found a lot of success recently with unconventional crossovers with popular media franchises, such as its recent collaboration with Riot Games’ Arcane series. To maintain the momentum, a collaboration event with NieR is prepared to be the next big update for the battle royale. For those of you who don’t know, NieR is a hugely popular JRPG series developed by Square Enix, and this particular tie-in will cover both of the latest entries into the franchise.

These collaborations are all inspired by the gothic android fashion found in both NieR titles. These skins will be found in the shop, along with some weapon skins and a potential limited-time chest opening event that will likely hold more cosmetic items. If another PUBG-hosted media collaboration is anything to go by, this chest will probably include skins inspired by the protagonists from NieR: Automata and NieR: Replicant, both of whom have the same kind of gothic lolita style outfits.

To find out more information, you can visit official Twitter account PUBG: New State. There will also be an update notification of the collaboration with NieR, the mobile game adaptation of the JRPG franchise is currently preparing for its first anniversary.

PUBG: New State is, of course, the most popular battle royale on mobile right now, and it can be found on Google Play and the App Store for free, so play around to prepare for an upcoming tie-in with one of the great JRPGs.
