Project ER, New MMORPG from Nexon Coming Soon

Nexon announced a new cross-platform game called Project ER, which looks set to be one of the titles it hopes to explode. The game is said to feature sieges of fortifications that will last for a full day, letting players engage in large projects in a completely unique way.

Project ER not only displays 24-hour sieges in real time, but also offers beautiful graphics as battles play out on a single world channel. This game is one of four major projects the developer is developing in the next few years. Another game is aptly named with the word “Project” in the unfinished title.

There’s not much to do in terms of gameplay details or game narrative, but Project ER is supposed to be an MMORPG set in a fantasy world. Anyone would be able to occupy the base, and it should only focus on conquering the fort or defending the fort. There will be many strategic decisions that will need to be made in order for the team to survive a full 24 hours during this large-scale siege, given that there will be limited resources and unpredictable terrain.

For now, there’s only been this teaser trailer to give a little sneak peek into the graphics and character classes of the game, but from the looks of it, this game appears to be a stunning new entry into the genre based on visuals alone.
