MPL ID Season 9 playoffs are coming soon. Precisely tomorrow, April 21, 2022.
Entering the first day, there will be four teams competing for the position to get to the upper bracket following the previous two teams, namely RRQ Hoshi and ONIC Esports.

Playoff Day 1 MPL ID Season 9 Schedule
- Match 1: AURA Fire Vs Bigetron Alpha = 14.00 WIB
- Match 2: EVOS Legends Vs Alter Ego = 18.30 WIB
The playoff match will be opened by AURA Fire with Bigetron Alpha where we know AURA Fire is quite on-fire this season by successfully reaching third place in the regular season. Bigetron Alpha itself is in a not good enough performance after being on the threshold of being safe and even being ranked seventh.
Will AURA be smooth in the first match or stumble across BTR’s bald meta?
In the second match, there was a fierce battle between EVOS and Alter Ego, a rematch of the last MDL final where EVOS Icon met Alter Ego X. Interestingly, this was not a fight for the champion but for the upper bracket slot and the losing team had to go home early. Will there be an El Clasico or a repeat of the S6 Grand Final in the upper bracket later?
