In his statement, Michael Kondoudis said that PSG was able to see business opportunities in the Metaverse very well and the purpose of this trademark application was to protect their brand when they entered the Metaverse world.

“This submission represents the next step towards protecting brands when logging into the Metaverse. Obviously PSG see the potential of the Metaverse and are preparing their trademark for a virtual economy that will dominate,” said Michael Kondoudis.

According to several reliable sources, PSG will launch NFT in the form of digital cards, audio, and video highlights of historical matches that they have played.

Previously, Manchester City and Barcelona first expressed interest in exploring the world of the Metaverse. According to the president of Barcelona, ​​Joan Laporta, they will develop their own version of the Metaverse without any help from other developers.
