The regular season round of MPL ID Season 9 has finally officially ended and it is certain that RRQ Hoshi and ONIC Esports are the two teams that have secured a place in the upper bracket.
This of course becomes a de javu where in the previous season the two teams both succeeded in dominating the regular season round of MPL ID Season 8.

After rolling for 8 weeks, ONIC Esports finally established itself as the only team that successfully recorded savage in the regular season round of MPL ID Season 9.
Interestingly, the savage was obtained when Calvin “CW” Winata used Miya against Geek Fam ID in the third week which ultimately succeeded in making ONIC Esports secure a 2-0 win without replying quickly enough.
Three consecutive times Secure Upper Bracket
After ensuring themselves to secure victory over Geek Fam ID in the last week, ONIC Esports finally succeeded in securing the upper bracket slot for three consecutive seasons.
This certainly equals RRQ Hoshi’s record, which previously had this record in MPL ID Season 4 to MPL ID Season 6.
Of course, this record can still increase, considering that with the same team composition they can re-carve the record next season.

Not Play All Roster
Of the 8 teams that competed in MPL ID Season 9, ONIC Esports is the only team that has not played all of its players.
The reason is, Viorenita “Vior” Sutanto, who was the only female player in the event, was never used at all even in the last match against Alter Ego.
