As one of the Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) with the largest revenue worldwide, Bored Ape Yacht Club must always provide the latest innovations that are still closely related to Web3.
One of the new innovations made by BAYC is to create a fast food restaurant with the theme of designs from its digital token collection, namely monkeys that appear with ‘contemporary’ outifts.

Restaurant fast food named Bored & Hungry is located in Long Beach, California. Every transaction, this restaurant allows its diners to pay for food ordered using Ethereum (ETH) or $APE (ApeCoin). In this way, Bored & Hungry became the first restaurant to accept payments via the $APE cryptocurrency.

The 1,700-square-meter restaurant was created by Orange City-based F&B entrepreneur Andy Nguyen and has teamed up with the Bored Ape Yacht Club to ‘take’ the copyright.
It is known, Nguyen also has other businesses such as Afters Ice Cream, Matte Black Coffee, Pig Pen Delicacy, Portside Fish Co., Dough & Arrow, Banh Xeo Boys and others. The man of Vietnamese descent also bought NFT BAYC with code #6184 for USD 267,000 or equivalent to Rp. 3.8 billion.
Just like other fast food restaurants, Bored & Hungry presents a food menu that is not much different, guys, for example, burgers, fried fries, and also soft drinks.
What sets it apart is the packaging of the food and drink, which depicts the famous Bored Ape Yacht Club’s NFT collection. In addition, the walls in the restaurant are also filled with murals typical of BAYC.
Launching from Hypebeast, Andy Nguyen said that the main goal of creating a restaurant Bored & Hungry is to introduce everyone to Web 3.0 which is currently growing rapidly. He also wants to show if a digital token can be adapted to the real world and the business world with promising income.
“The goal is to give back to the burgeoning Web 3.0 community and open the door for those who want to learn more about this new world of Web 3/NFT,” said Nguyen.
“Our job is to educate people about this new future world. And show people that you can create a brand/business from this IP. Remove the stigma, ‘This is just a jpeg.’” he added.
