New Breakthrough, Nemus Creates NFT To Preserve the Amazon Forest
Brazilian company Nemus officially sells NFT with the aim of preserving the Amazon forest in his country. Everyone can buy the token collection and it will automatically contribute to the new Nemus project.

Now, the company has officially entered the digital world by creating a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) where the proceeds from the sale will be donated to fund the conservation of the Amazon forest.

According to Nemus founder Flavio de Meira Penna, the holders of this collection will not own their own land. They only get works of art in the form of plants or animals in the Amazon jungle.

To present this digital artwork, Nemus collaborated with Concept Art House, an artist from San Francisco whose name is already quite well known in the digital asset world.
Furthermore, buyers will get important information about the continuation of this Nemus project, to preserve the Amazon forest and the animals that live in it.
“Token holders will not own the land themselves, but will have access to important information about its preservation, from satellite imagery to permits and other documentation,” said Flavio de Meira Penna, quoted by Reuters via VOI.
Furthermore, Flavio admits that he has sold as much as 10% (8,000 hectares) and he believes that sales will increase in the next few weeks.
“My guess is this will accelerate even more in the coming weeks.”
Nemus’ NFT has several plot options that have different sizes and prices. For the smallest plot, they sell it for 150 US dollars and the largest plot will be priced at 51 US dollars.
