MONOPOLY Now Presents Video Chat Feature on iOS and Android

Marmalade Game Studio has just announced an exciting update for the MONOPOLY game for iOS and Android now to have a video chat feature. The highly anticipated update enhances the digital board game experience by enhancing its social aspect, bringing a universally loved game to all players wherever they are in the world.

The in-game video chat feature for MONOPOLY allows players to compete directly without using other third-party video conferencing applications. Players can now add friends in social groups and seamlessly manage their gameplay from chat to video.

“At Marmalade, we aim to bring people together through a quality gaming experience. That goal really is at the heart of everything we do, so building video chat into our games has been an important next step for a long time,” said Cristina Mereuta, COO of Marmalade Game Studio. “Until now, video chat while playing games meant using some additional apps. This is required for the video itself, and pre-game text chat while you work out when to play and exchange game codes. All of this can be confusing. By bringing pre-game text chat and in-game video chat into the game apps themselves, we’re making it easy for people of all ages to get together and play.”

There’s something inherently exhilarating about your friends’ reactions when you catch Park Place and Boardwalk right under their noses, don’t you think?” With this new feature in MONOPOLY, you can bankrupt your grandma while sitting on the bus, and see the look on her face when you do it all in-game of course!” added Mereuta.

If you want to experience MONOPOLY with your friends at home, you can download this game on the App Store and on Google Play for IDR 76 thousand. Just update to the latest version to enable the video chat function.
