Karen Gillan Says New Nebula Version Will Appear in MCU!
Actress Karen Gillan said that there would be a new version of the Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Hmm, it seems that Marvel has prepared something new for this character.
Nebula is a character created by Roger Stern and John Buscema in the MCU world. This character first appeared in the comic titled The Avengers #257 and his action was officially adapted to the big screen in a film called Guardians of the Galaxy (2022).
Initially, Nebula was told to have an antagonistic nature, this was proven in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2022), at that time Nebula became the enemy of the Guardians who were at war against Ego the Living Planet.
However, his character began to change in the films Avengers: Infinity War (2022) and Avengers: Endgame (2022), because he preferred to defend The Avengers, rather than Thanos, who was still their main enemy. Now, Nebula is rumored to have a new nature again that looks like it will be much friendlier.

While attending an interview session with Gizmodo, Karen Gillan admitted that Nebula’s character will be present with different properties than before. He was also very interested in exploring further about the new nature of the Nebula.

“For me, one of the most interesting things about Nebula is her relationship with her father and brother (Gamora). And now that his father was removed. It’s interesting to explore how this character started to recover and who this character is now. So I’m having fun with it.” Gillan said, quoted from Gizmodo via Greenscene.
However, Gillan did not provide further explanation about the new nature that is in Nebula, because he had not actually seen the film.
“I mean, he [Nebula] definitely going to be a slightly different person after everything that happened in the Endgame movies. So we will definitely see a new version of the character. Maybe a freer version of the character? Maybe a little more humorous? We’ll see, because I haven’t really seen the film yet.”
The plan, the new nature of the Nebula will begin to be shown in the film Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be released on July 8, 2022 or at the latest in a show titled The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on the 2022 Christmas holiday.
