Introducing Valorant Division, Persija Esports Launches New Logo & Jersey!

Persija football club officially released the VALORANT division esports team at a press conference which was held online on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.

The inauguration of the esports team also released the logo and jersey from the Persija Esports team.

Harlin E. Rahardjo, Persija CEO explain the reasons for expanding to VALORANT to enter the digital era by carrying out a digital transformation with a vision beyond football which is very popular among Generation Z and Millennials.

With such a strong brand and in line with the times and technology, Persija Management sees the need to bring Persija into a new era, namely the digital era by carrying out digital transformation and having a vision beyond football and even beyond football. As a manifestation of this vision, Persija has spread its wings to a sport that is on the rise and is very popular among Generation Z and young Millennials and is very relevant to digital transformation, namely esports.

Based on this thought, Persija formed a new business unit, namely PT Persija Jaya Esports and within it formed the VALORANT esports team.”

Persija Esports previously managed to rank 6th in Asia Pacific in the VALORANT game event at the VALORANT Challengers Tournament – ​​Asia Pacific. The team, which had only been formed for three months, consisted of five experienced players in FPS games (First Person Shooter) that is:

  • Baskoro “roseaufy” Dwi Putra
  • Vicky “Flynch” Rudyanto
  • Fikri “Famouz” Zakih
  • Nanda “asteriskk” Rizana (IGL)

The team was coached by Andrew “bali” Joseph who is one of the former legendary CS:GO players in Indonesia.
