However, it seems that Warner Bros. doesn’t mind the cut, because they consider it very reasonable and often occurs in certain circumstances.

“Our expectation is to release our features worldwide as the creators release them, but historically we have faced minor edits made in the local market.” he continued.
“We want audiences everywhere in the world to see and enjoy this film, and it’s important to us that Chinese audiences have the opportunity to have that viewing experience, even with these minor edits.”
