Here's the List of Winners of the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards
Good news for Riot Games as League of Legends: Wild Rift, a hugely successful MOBA game for mobile, has won the Best Mobile Game category at the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is the mobile version of the popular MOBA game on PC, known as League of Legends. Much like its PC counterpart, Wild Rift has garnered a huge following in just its first year of release. The game was first released in June 2022 in Brazil and the Philippines, known as “Alpha Launch”. Finally, the game went into open beta on October 27, 2022 for the first time. The game’s final release comes almost a year later on October 8, 2022.
In addition to the Best Mobile Game category, there are several other categories such as Best Indie Game which was won by Death’s Door, then the Best Multiplayer category was won by It Takes Two, Best Audio was won by Resident Evil: Village, and PC Game of the Year was pocketed by Hitman 3.
