Genshin Impact Update Version 2.2 Brings New Playable Characters, Tsurumi Island, and Other Optimizers

Genshin Impact will launch a massive Version 2.2 update on October 13th, bringing new playable characters and the last of the six main islands of Inazuma to the popular RPG. Titled “Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog”, this new version will introduce Thoma and add many new challenges and mini-games after the update.

As a bonus gift for Genshin Impact players, the new update will offer another chance to claim “Savior From Another World” Aloy, the five-star crossover character from the Horizon Zero Dawn franchise, for free. An open world action RPG welcomes Travelers to Tsurumi Island, where players must stay alert to the dangerous Rifthounds and Rifthound Whelps. When this evil monster attacks a character, all party members will receive the “Corrosion” debuff and gradually lose HP.

Additionally, Thoma will join the adventure as a playable four-star character with Pyro Vision. He can be recruited in the second Wish Event. Travelers can also expect more seasonal events, such as the “Labyrinth Warriors” and “Tuned to the World’s Sounds” events. Additionally, Version 2.2 brings optimizations to the overall gameplay, which includes the highly anticipated DualSense Controller support for the PC version.

Additionally, Pot Serenitea now has even more features, plus Inazuma’s “Silken Courtyard” themed realm layout and Furnishing Blueprints. If you can’t wait to experience all these amazing improvements, you can download Genshin Impact on the App Store or on the Google Play Store for Android devices. This is a free to play game with in-app purchases.
