Disney Mirrorverse, New Action RPG Game from Disney and Pixar Coming Soon
Disney and Kabam have just announced exciting news for fans of their beloved mega-franchise in the form of Disney Mirrorverse, an upcoming team-based action RPG on mobile. Landing on iOS and Android devices in all regions on June 23 this year, this captivating new title takes players into a variant universe to see their favorite Disney and Pixar characters reimagined in a way they’ve never seen before.
In the Disney Mirrorverse, players can look forward to taking up arms and fighting the forces of evil in a different new universe where the forces of light and dark collide. The game features popular Disney and Pixar characters who are transformed into Mirrorverse Guardians who fight against the Fractured to save their reality.
“Players have the opportunity to earn through gameplay or purchase currency that can be used to unlock Mirrorverse Guardians, talents that enhance their Guardian abilities, and items such as potions to aid in gameplay,” said Mark Raham (Kabam – Executive Producer) on monetization and gacha games.
“We want each player session to be fun and meaningful – and designed the game so that all players can earn currency and progress in the game. Players who choose to spend may progress at an increasing pace, but we strive to create a balance in such a way that players have multiple paths to progress.”
Action-packed combat as players can take advantage of their character’s unique skills to fight great battles in real-time. Characters range from Baymax to Maleficent, as players can enjoy the diverse lineup of heroes and villains from Disney and Pixar and add them to their squad. The game features not only an exciting Story Mode but also story missions, event quests, alliance missions and other thrilling dungeons.
“The focus right now is on supporting launch features like Alliances, where players work together asynchronously to compete in Alliance Events, to achieve rankings and earn special rewards,” continued Raham, when asked about the multiplayer feature. The action gameplay in Disney Mirrorverse is made to play and feels great on touch controls. Tap, swipe, hold, dodge, run, attack, etc – it’s really fun and deep cheats. While we will only support touch controls at launch, we will continue to interact with our players and explore ways to improve the gaming experience.”
