Battlefield 2042 Release Schedule Postponed Again, Here's The Reason

The release schedule for Battlefield 2042 has been postponed again for the umpteenth time, now fans have to be patient because this game has been postponed until next November.

Electronic Arts (EA) said that on November 19, 2022, new fans will be able to enjoy the game. It’s been almost a month after the delay, since the previous release was announced on October 22.

“Building Battlefield for next-gen consoles during the pandemic has created an unexpected challenge for the development team. We hope the team can return to the studio together, as we approach launch,” wrote Oskar Gabrielson, GM DICE Studio, quoted from EA’s official website, Thursday (16/9/2022).

According to him, with the current conditions, it is not possible for the development team to return to work together in the studio. Because it is so unsafe and in the end, all the hard work is done from home.

“Your enthusiasm for the game is very inspiring. We believe in the game that is currently in development and thank you for being patient with some of the adjustments we are working on,” Gabrielson wrote.

The Open Beta update for this game will be announced at the end of September. So there is at least almost two months for players to decide whether to buy the game after trying the beta.

Later there will be a new mode called Portal that will allow players to create custom games using assets from Battlefield 2042, Battlefield 1942, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3.

Players will be able to play Battlefield 2042 on various platforms except mobile. Battlefield 2042 will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Origin, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
