Avatar: Reckoning Will Release for Mobile Devices This Year
Archosaur Games, Tencent, Lightstorm Entertainment, and Disney have teamed up to bring Avatar: Reckoning to iOS and Android devices in 2022. The upcoming MMORPG is an exclusive mobile game title that will bring players back to the world of Pandora in a new and more impressive way.
Avatar: Reckoning features intuitive controls for mobile devices along with high-end graphics players can enjoy for the full open-world experience. Players can create and customize their own Avatar and explore Pandora in a new light, repel evil forces at the same time. Apart from single player story missions, there will also be co-op missions and a PvP mode to keep things social.
Of course, the game will be set in the world of James Cameron’s hit 2009 film Avatar, and will likely link up with the sequel to the upcoming film (which was supposed to be released on December 16 this year). There will also be three sequels planned after that. In the game, players will assume the role of members of a certain Na’vi clan to repel the RDA forces that threaten their homeland.
Avatar: Reckoning will be developed by Archosaur Games and published by Level Infinite, and builds on Unreal Engine 4 to create a lush environment waiting to be explored.
