Arena of Valor Holds International Tournament with Total Prize of IDR 14 Billion
Tencent and Garena have teamed up to organize an international tournament for the MOBA game, Arena of Valor. The tournament, entitled Arena of Valor International Championship, presents 14 teams from around the world who will compete to win the World Championship title with a total prize of $1 million or approximately equivalent to Rp. 14 billion.
The international tournament will be held from 27 November to 19 December. This date has a special place for Arena of Valor as the tournament will mark its 5th anniversary. On October 12, 2022, he did a soft launch in Taiwan. Since 2022 it has gained popularity and started to host competitions all over the world. The prize pool of $1 million will be the largest of all Arena of Valor competitions held to date.

The event will be held virtually due to Covid-19. Arena of Valor International Championship spectators are promised an immersive virtual experience and the largest broadcasting platform to keep them more engaged and entertained. 14 teams will qualify from all the different regions. There are eight different regions that can qualify for the tournament.
- Garena Challenge Series (GCS) – From the Taiwan league, three teams will qualify
- Arena of Glory (AOG) – From the Vietnam League, three teams will qualify
- ROV Pro League (RPL) – From the Thai league, three teams will qualify
- AOV Star league (ASL) – From the Indonesian League, only one team qualified
- Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines – Only one team qualified
- Japanese, Chinese, Korean – One team from each country will qualify
The tournament schedule is as follows:
- Group stage – 27 November – 5 December
- Quarterfinals – 9 December – 12 December
- Semi-finals- December 17 – December 18
- Final- December 19.
