Among Us's New Update Will Present Several New Roles

Among Us developer InnerSloth LLC has just announced that they are working on a new role. They also confirmed that the next game update will focus on adding some of these roles to the game.

Initially, the game was released with one map and two roles – Impostor and Crewmate, and a maximum of 10 players could join a match. You can also play with your friends by creating a private lobby. Over time, the game has added many maps and even the maximum player limit was increased to 15. The developer also added protective cosmetics to customize your character.

On October 4, a new information was released on the official website that the developers are working on creating a new role. They haven’t shared important details like how many or what the roles will be, but they have hinted that maybe 2 to 4 new roles will be added, although nothing has been confirmed yet.

Innersloth also revealed that they have planned another update at the same time, but there are no details about that either. Discussing the new role, they said that they are planning to make this update for a long time, even before the game launches. So, the role may be slightly different from what we know. There are no other details about the anticipated role so far. But more information is expected to come soon.
