Addicted to Playing Instagram? Here's How To Limit It

How to Overcome Addiction to Playing Instagram

Nowadays, social media has become part of the lifestyle of most people. There is not a day without opening a social media account for someone. It feels like something is missing if you don’t open social media for a day, for example Instagram.

It’s the same with the tool to open it, namely a smartphone. Social media can also make someone addicted, all day using social media. Some use it for business purposes while others use it just for entertainment.

Of course it’s a good thing to use social media for business. But if it’s just for entertainment, watching people’s updates throughout the day, it’s certainly not a good thing, which causes users to become addicted, wasteful of internet packages and unproductive, only consumptive.

Therefore, this time I want to share tips for those of you who feel addicted to social media, namely tips or ways so that you can limit yourself in using Instagram social media.

How to Limit Yourself Playing Instagram

Indeed, social media has many positive things. However, every user must of course limit himself so as not to get addicted to it, which only wastes time. You can use that free time for more productive things.

Instagram itself has provided features for users so that they don’t overdo social media. Here’s how:

  • First, open your Instagram account, then select the tab menu Profile.
  • Then, select 3 line menu which is in the upper right corner. Then select menu Your activity and select menu Time.
  • After that, select Set Daily Reminder, and set the amount of time you want to use Instagram. For example, 2 hours per day.
  • Then select the button Set ReminderDone.
How to Limit Instagram Usage

That way, you will get a reminder notification if your usage has reached 2 hours on that day. With reminder notifications like that, hopefully you can be wiser in using Instagram social media.

Well, those are tips or how to limit yourself in using Instagram for too long. Hopefully it’s useful. Thank you (:
