Activision Blizzard Gets Interested in NFT World

Activision Blizzard seems to be getting interested in the NFT world, after having conducted a survey to selected users. Hmm, it looks like Activision Blizzard will launch a blockchain-based game, guys.

FYI, Activision Blizzard is a game developer from the United States who is also the parent company of Activision and Blizzard Entertainment. Based in Santa Monica, California, the company focuses on publishing console, mobile, and online games. The games he released are Call of Duty, StarCraft, Warcraft, Spider-Man and many others.

Currently, Activision Blizzard is reportedly in the planning stages to utilize Non-Fungible Token (NFT) technology into its released games, as reported by NFEvening (17/4).

Activision Blizzard Interested in Entering the NFT World?

Not long ago, Activision Blizzard sent a survey to selected users and asked about how often they play Blizzard games to what genre of games they play the most.

However, there is one question that has caught the attention of many netizens. The reason is, Activision Blizzard asked how much interest players have with emerging technologies and future trends in games.

“How interested are you in developing/future gaming trends?” Activision Blizzard wrote in its survey.

To answer this, respondents were given several choices, including Metaverse Gaming Experiences, Play-to-earn Gaming (earn cryptocurrency, NFTs, or real currency), and NFTs (non fungible tokens).

Hearing the news about Activision Blizzard getting interested in exploring the world of NFT, a Twitter user with the username @OTadaka also gave his response. According to him, he is not very interested in the new innovations that will be carried out by Activision Blizzard.

Furthermore, the respondents also regretted that the game developer did not provide the words “Thank you” to the respondents who had filled out the survey. Activision Blizzard instead directed respondents to Blizzard’s online store at the end of the survey.

According to rumors circulating on Twitter, Activision Blizzard has planned that one of its best-selling games, Call of Duty, will be embedded with NFT technology. But remember! This is just a rumor, guys, because Activision Blizzard has not provided any news regarding this news.
