The best build for Xiangling in Genshin Impact

(Credit Image : miHoYo)

Genshin Impact Xiangling is a fire-throwing game cook, though luckily she limits her fireworks to combat, and doesn’t risk setting the house on fire every time she knocks on a little dinner. He also likes spicy food, though it’s unclear if that’s where all the fire came from.

While not the game’s best fighter, Xiangling is a worthy companion to have in your ranks. It is also possible to get Xiangling in Genshin Impact for free, making it worth understanding. A capable Support fighter, he is also narratively interesting thanks to Genshin Impact’s surprising obsession with cooking. Let alone Master Chief, Xiangling is a Master Chef.

How to get Xiangling in Genshin Impact

As mentioned above, Xiangling can be obtained for free, although you must reach Adventure Rank 20 before you can get it. At this point, you’ll unlock the Spiral Abyss, a dungeon where you climb increasingly tight floors to collect rewards. On the 3rd Floor, Room 3, this gift is Xiangling.

You also have a 2.2 percent chance of pulling it on the permanent Wanderlust Invocation banner, which also contains 13 other four-star fighters and five more powerful five-star fighters.

Overview of Genshin Impact Xiangling

If you’re trying to build a Genshin Impact dream team, Xiangling won’t make the cut. There are better Pyro fighters (like the phenomenal Diluc) and better Support fighters out there.

Nonetheless, Xiangling was a very competent party member. With so many characters putting players at the mercy of the gacha gods, you’re unlikely to get that dream team away unless you’re willing to pump big bucks into it. In this case, you’ll want a solid, accessible fighter to close those gaps. Xiangling could be the solution you need.

1) Normal attack : Dough-Fu

• Normal Attack : Xiangling takes five quick attacks on surrounding enemies.

• Loaded Attack : Xiangling charged forward with a fierce attack.

• Plunge Attack : Xiangling slams down, dealing AOE damage.

2) Elemental Skills : Guoba

Attack Xiangling summons Guoba, a mini panda who would be adorable if it weren’t for the fact he breathes fire. Guoba’s attacks dealt Pyro’s continuous AoE damage, and he would direct his breath towards nearby enemies.

3) Elemental Burst : Pyronado As you would expect from its name, Pyronado is a tornado that does Pyro damage. It continuously revolved around Xiangling, moving as she did and damaging all enemies it came into contact with.

4) Passive

• Shootout : Increases Guoba’s range by 20 percent.

• Be careful, it’s super hot : Guoba left the chili when he left the field. Taking it increased Xiangling’s attack stat by 10 percent for ten seconds.

• Chef De Cuisine : When cooking an attack-enhancing dish, Xiangling has a 12 percent chance of getting a double return when making it perfect.

5) Constellations

• Crispy Outside, Tender Inside: Enemies hit by Guoba have their Pyro Resistance reduced by 15 percent for six seconds.

• Oil meets fire : The last attack in the Normal Attack chain breaks the last enemy attack with Implode. After two seconds, this enemy explodes, dealing 75 percent of Xiangling’s attack stat as AoE Pyro damage.

• Deep Fry : Increases Pyronado level by 3.

• Slowbake: Increases Pyronado’s duration by 40 percent.

• Mad Guoba : Increases Guoba Attack level by 3.

• Thick Pyronado: All party members receive a 15 percent Pyro damage boost during Pyronado.

Genshin Impact Xiangling build: Example setup

Xiangling is best suited for the Support class, but she can be built as a DPS fighter as well, so you’ll find suggestions for both here.

==== Support ====

As a Support fighter, you want buildings that increase Pyro Xiangling’s damage and offer an extra boost for the rest of the party.

Weapon

• Skyward Spine : It increases Xiangling’s Critical rate by 8 percent, increasing her normal attack speed by 12 percent. Normal and Charged Attacks have a 50 percent chance of triggering the vacuum blade which deals 40 percent of Xiangling’s Attack stat as AoE damage.

Artifact

• Noblesse Obligation Set :2-part: Elemental Burst damage increased by 20 percent. 4-part: Using Elemental Burst increases the Attack stats of all party members by 20 percent for 12 seconds. It doesn’t stack up with other bonuses.

==== DPS ====

Xiangling can work as a DPS fighter as well, and the Skyward Spine isn’t the worst weapon in the world for this, making Xiangling quite lenient with it equipped. Here, we have offered alternative suggestions for Xiangling as a member of the DPS party.

Weapon

• Crescent Pike : Normal and Charged Attacks deal additional 20 percent damage for five seconds after Xiangling takes an Elemental Orb or Particle.

Artifact

• Gladiator’s Finale Set :2-part: 18 percent extra attack damage. 4 parts: 35 percent extra attack damage for Polearm attacks. If you don’t have enough Gladiator Final artifacts, you can have a mix of 2-part Gladiator’s Finale and 2-part Bloodstained Chivalry, which deals 18 percent extra attack damage and 25 percent physical damage.
