Looking for the great Genshin Impact Miona? The miHoYo RPG leans heavily into its anime aesthetic, but even among all the waifus and husbandos, Mona feels like the most ‘anime-ish’ character. He was a homeless Hydrology mage who read wealth and treasure hunting on the side, basically the living embodiment of the word ‘unique’.
Mona also has more of her story to tell. While many characters have played central roles in various missions and quests, Mona is only briefly mentioned in the wider Genshin Impact mythology. He is one of the game’s most interesting individuals, and if given the right equipment, can be a powerful addition to your party. So, this was how to get Mona in Genshin Impact, and some great builds for her.
How to get Mona in Genshin Impact
To get Mona, you also have to be lucky. Mona is a five-star character, part of the Wanderlust Invocation Banner. This is a permanent banner, meaning that Mona will be in the game forever, unlike some of the other banners that are available for a limited time only.
There are ups and downs to this. The banner features a lot of five-star characters (Jean, Diluc, Qiqi, and Keqing), but also features 14 four-star characters, along with lots of weapons. In total, you have a 0.6 percent chance of getting Mona, although you’re guaranteed a five-star character or weapon after 90 consecutive failed draws. Even then you might not get Mona, so whoever is with her on their team has either spent a lot of drag or was very lucky.
Genshin Impact Mona’s Overview
The Mona is a very mobile fighter, adding extra depth to the combat some of the others in the game can bring. Although quite strong in his own right, he is best used as a support fighter. In addition to her ability to control crowds with abundant AoE attacks, Mona can also get out of sight and sneak up behind enemies, as well as being able to trap or lure her enemies.
1) Normal attack : Ripple of Fate

3) Elemental Burst : Stellaris Phantasm
Mona traps all the smaller enemies in a bubble. These enemies all get Wet, receive an omen, and will take increased damage once their bubble bursts.
4) Passive
• Come ‘n’ Get Me, Hag! : Two seconds after casting Stellaris Phantasm, Mona will summon Phantom of Fate for two seconds, dealing 50 percent of Mirror Reflection of Doom AoE after explosion.
• Waterborne destiny : Hydro Mona’s damage bonus increased by 20 percent of its Recharge rate.
• Principium of Astrology : Mona has a 25 percent chance of returning materials when crafting Weapon Ascension Materials.

5) Constellations
• Submersion Prophecy : After a party member hits a target affected by the omen, all Hydro-based Elemental Reactions get a boost. Electro Charged, Vaporize, and Hydro Swirl all get a 15 percent increase in damage, while Frozen lasts 15 percent longer.
• Moon Chain : Normal Attacks have a 20 percent chance of being followed up with Charged Attacks.
• Restless revolution : Increases Stellaris Phantasm level by 3.
• Oblivion’s Forecast : After a party member hits a target affected by Omen, their Critical Hit rate increases by 15 percent.
• Mockery from Fortuna : Increases Mirror Reflection of Doom level by 3.
• Calamitas Rhetoric : Mona gains a 60 percent increase in her next charged attack for every second of movement inside Illusory Torrent, capped at 180 percent to eight seconds.
Genshin Impact Mona build: Example setup
Mona is a support fighter. Some of the characters in the game can play multiple roles, but while Mona deals decent damage, she’s wasted as DPS when there are so many other DPS fighters in the game. For that reason, this guide focuses on using him as support, but will provide an easier-to-assemble four-star build in addition to the ideal five-star build.

If you’ve pulled Mona in a lucky way (as opposed to a ‘spend all your money’ way) you might be looking for a more accessible building that can still get the best out of Mona. If that’s the case, this four-star build is the way to go.
Weapon
• Sacrificial Fragments : After damaging an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40 percent chance of ending its own cooldown. It can only happen once every 30 seconds.
Artifact
• Instructor : 2-part: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80. 4 part: After using Elemental Skills, all party members Elemental Mastery increases by 120 for eight seconds.

This is the best Genshin Impact Mona build. If you pull Mona through sheer willpower, you may have a huge arsenal to choose from. If that’s the case, here’s how you can make the best version of mona you can get.
Weapon
• The Lost Prayer for the Holy Wind : Increase Movement Speed by 10 percent. In battle, get an eight percent Elemental Damage bonus every four seconds, which stacks up to four times. This effect lasts until the character falls in battle or the battle ends.
Artifact
• Noblesse Obligation :2-part: Elemental Burst damage increased by 20 percent. 4-part: Using Elemental Burst increases all party members’ Attack stats by 20 percent for 12 seconds, but this effect cannot stack.
