2. Select the Group you want to leave.
3. Once the group is open, press Join under the cover photo then select Leave the Group.

How to Delete a Facebook Group

If you are bored with the group that has been created, you can delete it on the condition that you are an admin who created the group or the original group creator has left and you are already an admin.

1. Press the dash 3 select menu Group, then select the Group to delete.
2. Once the group is open, select 3 dots > Other > View Group info > Member
3. Press the gear sign next to each group member’s name > Remove from Group.
4. When all group members have been removed, press OK then select Leave the Group.
5. Press Exit and Delete Group on the confirmation page.

How to Archive a Facebook Group

By archiving a group, existing members can still view posts but cannot create posts, comment or respond. Only admins can archive groups, or groups that don’t have admins for a certain period of time will be automatically archived by Facebook.

1. Press the dash 3, then select the Group you want to archive.
2. Press three dots, Other > View Group Info.
3. Scroll down and select Archive Group.
