• Looking for Horses
The first step when you want to tame and ride a horse is to have a horse. You can find horses in the plains area. However, if you have trouble you can use cheats or spawn them with horse eggs in creative mode.
• Taming a Horse
After finding a horse that feels right, it’s time for you to tame the horse by selecting inventory or an empty slot and approach the horse until the words “ride“. Press the text and you will automatically ride the horse but you cannot direct the movement of the horse. If you fall while doing this you must repeat it until the horse appears love-love which means the horse has been successfully tamed.
• Mounting the Saddle
In the previous step you have managed to tame the horse and ride it but have not been able to direct the movement of the horse. For that, you need a saddle that is mounted on a horse. The saddle is an item that has not yet been made, so in order to have it you have to find or barter with a villager.
As for how to install the saddle yourself, you approach the horse until the words “Rise” appear. After riding, open the inventory or if confused, press the three dots on the rightmost front inventory and an inventory and box with a picture of the saddle and horse armor will appear. you have to the picture box and immediately the horse is wearing a saddle. If you want to install armor you can do it like putting on a saddle.
After taming the horse and saddle up you can now ride it wherever you want. To ride press the words “Ride” when approaching the horse. Moving the horse left and right or back and forth can use the same buttons as you move. To make the horse jump you use the same buttons as you jump. To get down press the button in the middle of the button you use to move. Finally, use the screen or camera angle to see you riding a horse.
