How to Setting and Adding Combo Key in PPSSPP

PPSSPP is an emulator application that is used to play games from the PSP through several platforms such as Android. Therefore, of course, there are many games that can be played using this application, starting from games that can be considered easy, difficult, or complicated.

It’s complicated here in the sense of pressing quite a lot of control buttons, for example L + R + Square + Analog simultaneously. That might be a bit difficult for those of you who aren’t used to it.

But you also don’t need to worry about that because PPSSPP has a feature that can solve this problem, namely by adding a combo key.

What are combo keys? Combo key which is a button that is useful for pressing several buttons simultaneously by pressing only one button. So it will be easier to play games that require 3 to 4 fingers.

Steps to Add PPSSPP Combo Key

1. Open PPSSPP and play the game you want to add a combo key to.
2. When the game is running, enter the section Settings from PPSSPP.

3. Select Controls, then Edit touch control layout.

4. Select Visibility and check the combo key you want to add. Here there are 5 combo keys that can be added and are symbolized by the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

5. Select back to Move if you want to change the position of the combo key.

6. When finished, return to the game and you have successfully added the combo key.

How to Set PPSSPP Combo Key

After successfully adding a combo button like the steps above, the button does not work when you press it because it has not been set. For that you need to set it first, the steps are as follows:

1. Log back into PPSSPP Controls Settings and select Combo Key Setup.

2. Set the combo of the combo keys you want to use, by selecting the combo key and ticking the keys you want to combine.

For example, you want to set the combo key 1 to combine O + X + L + R. Then you just have to tick O, X, L, and R as shown below.

Then return to the game and when pressed combo key 1 it will make the O + X + L + R buttons press simultaneously.
