Guide and Reward 'What Lies Beneath the Mask' Event Pokemon Go

What's Under the Mask or "What Lies Beneath the Mask" Pokemon Go is a new Halloween event in the game .

The new Special Research Task set focuses on Yamask and other ghost-type Pokémon. Our Pokémon Go guide “What Lies Beneath the Mask” will show you all the steps to collect the rewards.

After getting Special Research by logging in, you can complete it at any time. Specialty Research involves catching tons of ghost-type Pokemon.

You should try to complete it during a Halloween themed event, when the spawn is increased. If you wait until after the event ends, it becomes much more difficult to complete.

For fans curious about the importance of those numbers, they are a reference for developing Galarian Yamask in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

More specifically, Yamask had to take 49 damage before evolving into Runerigus in those games.

It should be noted, What Lies Beneath the Mask is not the only new Research being done during the first part of Halloween Mischief.

Indeed, there are some event-exclusive Field Research, most of which also focuses on catching Ghost-type Pokemon.

Additionally, two new stages of Misunderstood Mischief Special Research Pokemon GO are now available, which are sure to appeal to fans who have been working on the story throughout that season.
