Event Shoot for the Stars Harvest Moon [HM HoLV]

Shoot for the Stars is the main event or storyline of Harvest Moon [HoLV] The main character is Funland employee Alice and her two assistants Renton and Charles.

Funland itself is a company that wants to turn Leaf Valley into a playground. To smooth the plan, Funland has his employees cause a lot of trouble in order to take over Leaf Valley.

In this event, you will also determine the ending that you can get from playing Harvest Moon [HoLV].You will be given 2 years to complete the event. If you successfully complete this event correctly you will get the best ending which means you save Leaf Valley from development and vice versa if you fail you will get a bad ending.

Shoot for the Stars

1. Arrive at Leaf Valley
Time : Year 1,Spring 1
Place: Your Farm
Condition : –

You received a letter from your father to take care of your grandfather’s abandoned farm. Where the farm is located, it turns out that a playground will be built by the Funland company.

When you first come to the farm you are greeted by the Harvest Sprites (Dwarves) and the Harvest Goddess who will help you get to know the farm. The Harvest Goddess also gives a question whose answer will affect the FP or friendship of some characters.

1. First answer to 3 questions: Bob, Chester, Dia, Harvest Goddess, Joe, Louis, Son, & Wallace.
2. Second answer to 3 questions: Charles, Gina, Katie, Kurt, Nic, Renton, Ronald, & Rudolph.
3. Random Answers: Aurelia, Alice, Flac, Gwen, Lyla, Martha, Parsley, Tim, & Woody.

2. Funland
Time : Year 1,Spring 3
Place: Your Farm
Condition : –

Alice, Renton, & Charles come to your farm to tell you the plan to build a playground in Leaf Valley. They say you better go or choose to collect 50,000 G in 2 years to cancel or maybe there is another way.

3. Trying to Convince
Time : Year 1,Spring 23
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Alice and her two assistants came back to see if you had left Leaf Valley. However, it turned out that you didn’t want to leave even if you wanted to save from construction. Hearing this Alice was a little annoyed and promised not to be the last you saw.

4. Sign
Time : Year 1,Summer 8
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Bob warns you that Funland has put up a strange sign on the Plaza.

If you look at the Plaza, there will be signs posted on the edge of the Plaza.

5. Tense

Katie also warned you about Funland because she heard that they were planning to build a robot.

6. Mysterious Bird Robot
Time : Year 1,Winter 2
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

The Harvest Sprites tell you that a mysterious robot bird is attacking Leaf Valley.

7. Mecha Event #1 – Crow (Robot Crow)
Time : Year 1,Winter 2
Place: In front of Lyla/Louis store
Condition : –

A robot crow attacks Leaf Valley. To defeat it you must take the food circled in red before the bird gets to it.

8. Louis Step Up
Time : Year 1,Winter 5
Place: When leaving the house

You will experience this event if you do not participate in Mecha Event #1 or fail to defeat the crow robot.

9. Mining
Time : Year 1,Winter 14
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Rudolph asks you to stop working in the mines for a while because the Funlanders are again planning to mess with their robots in the mines and that might make it unsafe.

10. Mole Robot
Time : Year 1,Winter 20
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Tim tells you that a robot rat is attacking a mine.

11. Mecha Event #2 – Mole (Rat Robot)
Time : Year 1,Winter 20
Place: Mine
Condition : –

A robot rat attacks the mine. To defeat it you have to hit the robot when it comes to the surface to pick up the ore.

12. Rudolph Step Up
Time : Year 1,Winter 21
Place: When leaving the house

You will experience this event if you don’t take part in Mecha Event #2 or fail to defeat the mouse robot.

13. What Happens In The Forest
Time : Year 2,Spring 2
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Gwen warns you because she heard from Woody that the Funland company people are in the woods. They mention a tree and a robot.

14. Tree Robot
Time : Year 2,Spring 5
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Woody tells you that a robot is attacking his forest.

15. Mecha Event #3 – Tree (Tree Robot)
Time : Year 2,Spring 5
Place: Woody Carpentry
Condition :

The tree robot is attacking the forest. In this Mecha event you need to save Alice. Answer “Save Alice”, “Stay”, & “Yes” then you will cut down the tree which makes the tree robot stuck and save Alice.

16. Horse Racing
Time : Year 2,Spring 18
Place: When leaving the house

You will not see this event if you are currently or have completed The Tale of the Horse Champion event because the events were merged.

17. Face Funland in Horse Racing
Time : Year 2,Spring 22
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

This event will complete the Bob event and the Mecha event.


18. Mecha Event #4 – Horse (Robot Horse)
Time : Year 2,Spring 22
Place: Horse Race Track
Requirements: Have registered for the horse race that day and take part in the race

The robot horse is in the race this time. The robot’s first race had a problem. However, they asked for a re-race the next day and you have to beat them.

19. Horse Racing Fail
Time : Year 2,Spring 25
Place: When leaving the house

You will experience this event if you fail to defeat Charles and his robot horse.

20. The Danger of the Harvest Goddess
Time : Year 2, Summer 10
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

The Harvest Goddess tells you that Funland will be back at the lake this time.

21. Danger in the Lake
Time : Year 2,Summer 14
Place: When leaving the house
Condition : –

Katie told you about Funland throwing a tantrum on the lake.

22. Mecha Event #5 – Fish (fish robot)
Time : Year 2,Summer 14
Place: Mallard Lake
Condition : –

The fish robot created and released in the lake by Funland becomes a weapon that attacks them back. This makes you have to help him save Alice, answer “I’ll help” then make you have to lure the robot before Alice drowns.

After the above event, the next event and the answer you choose will determine an ending. Here are 3 endings that you can get.

Final Potential 1 (Normal Ending)

23A. Failed to beat the robot
Time : Year 2, Summer 15
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: You don’t take part in Mecha #5 event or participate but we choose the answer “I don’t want to help” and “Sorry”

Alice, Renton, and Charles are rescued by the residents.

24A. Change of Heart
Time : Year 2,Summer 16 – Fall 3
Place: Mallard Lake
Requirements: Have experienced event 23A

Everyone’s brave efforts affected Alice’s position on whether or not to destroy Leaf Valley.

25A. Time has run out
Time : Year 2, Fall 5
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: Have experienced event 24A

There wasn’t much time left before the Funland deadline.

26A. Alice’s Final Decision
Time : Year 2,Winter 26
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: Have experienced event 25A and chose “No” and “I dont’t intend to”

27A. Funland Cancellation
Time : Year 2,Winter 30
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: Have experienced event 26A and have 50,000 G

Leaf Valley was saved but Alice left in year 3.

Final potential 2 (Normal Ending)

23B. Change of Heart
Time : Year 2, Summer 16
Place: Church
Requirements: Have chosen “I’II help” in event 22 or Mecha event #5, but if you fail to beat one of the 5 Mecha events

You will experience this event if you fail to defeat a robot or Mecha event.

24B. Alice’s Tough Position
Time : Year 2, Fall 5
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: Have experienced event 23B

Alice is in a dilemma whether to destroy Leaf Valley or not.

25B. Alice’s Promise
Time : Year 2,Winter 30
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: Have experienced event 24B and have 50,000 G.

Alice, Renton, and Charles come to your farm to tell you that construction is going on. However, since you have 50,000 G and Alice has promised, the construction is canceled and Leaf Valley is saved.

However, in year 3 Alice left Leaf Valley.

Final potential 3 (Best Ending)

23C. Alice’s Emotional
Time : Year 2, Summer 16
Place: Church
Requirements: Have defeated all robots or Mecha event 1-5

Alice thanks you for saving her.

24C. Alice’s change of heart
Time : Year 2, Fall 5
Place: When leaving the house
Requirements: Have participated in the 24C event

Alice has decided to help you protect Leaf Valley. Make sure to select “I do” and “Of course” to continue the ending.

This choice also prevents Alice from leaving the village in year 3.

25C. End
Time : Year 2,Winter 30
Place: In front of the house
Requirements: Have participated in the 24C event and have 50,000 G.

Charles and Renton arrive with a bulldozer to destroy Leaf Valley but are prevented by Alice and keeps Leaf Valley from rebuilding.

In addition to the ending above, there are 2 more endings that you can experience, namely Bad Ending and Good Ending. Bad Ending is a failure to save Leaf Valley, where you don’t complete more than 3 tourist or nature events and don’t have 50,000 G to pay. similar to the opposite of Bad Ending, that is, you successfully complete 3 or more Tourist/Nature events and complete the Mecha event.
