Zhongli is a calm, reserved, and polite man who knows very little about Liyue’s history and culture. He is too philosophical about money and too respectful of the Liyue tradition, especially for a long fading tradition.
Zhongli was finally able to play as a playable character in Genshin Impact. For those of you following the build for Zhongli, we’ll be providing additional instructions as appropriate for this Genshin Impact character.
Build DPS (Physical Damage)
As a user of the Polearms weapon style, you can of course build Zhongli into a DPS that relies on physical attacks. Coupled with a high attack speed, Zhongli can become a killing machine if physical attacks are too fast.

For weapons that you can use as DPS for physical damage, here are the directions for Zhongli:

When hit, increases ATK by 3.2 / 3.9 / 4.6 / 5.3 / 6% for 6 seconds. Maximum of 7 stacks. It can only happen once every 0.3 seconds. Full stack increases skill DMG by 12/16/20/24/28%.

Increases shield strength by 20/25/30/35/40%, getting hits against enemies increases ATK by 4/5/6/7/8% for 8 seconds. Maximum of 5 stacks. It can only happen once every 0.3 seconds. When protected by a shield, the effect of this ATK increase is increased by 100%.

Build support (Burst Damage & Shield)
Aside from being a DPS, you can also build Zhongli as a support. Zhongli’s job here will be to rely on his shield to maintain your main DPS. In this build, Zhongli can also rely on Elemental Burst damage burts that turn enemies to stone.
