Build Xinyan Sub DPS Genshin Impact: weapons, artifacts, talents
Last month Mihoyo provided a new character with pyro elements that could be used as DPS support. That character is Xinyan, on this occasion Carakute will discuss the Xinyan Sub DPS Genshin Impact build in depth.
This Sub-DPS role is only suitable for parties that already have pure DPS characters like Diluc, Keqing, Razor and others. If you don’t have a DPS character, it is better not to build Xinyan Sub DPS.
However, if you already have a DPS lead character, you can immediately follow the build we discussed. Here we will be discussing the build in detail, from weapons, artifacts, talents that need upgrading, to characters that are in synergy with Xinyan.
Build Xinyan Sub DPS Genshin Impact
Before we go any further, let’s better discuss which characters are compatible with Xinyan. As shown in the picture, Xinyan is very suitable if you are playing with Razor or Keqing DPS, these two characters are supported by Xinyan to generate elementary reactions “Overload”.
This overload creates an explosive effect with additional damage if I’m not mistaken. However, Chongyun can also be assisted by Xinyan which is the resulting reaction “Superconductor” which will reduce the enemy’s defense, suitable for large opponents.

When selecting weapons, this can be adapted to your style of play, if you want large normal attack damage, you can use weapons such as. use
Wolf’s tombstone, Archaic prototype or
Snow digger sartsilver which essentially adds attack
On the flip side, if you want to trigger Elemental Burst (Skill Q) quickly, you can use weapons with a charge status, such as
Heavenward pride or Sacrificial greatswords
Xinyan Sub DPS Genshin Impact Artifact
Not much different from the Bennett support build, you can use 4 sets of artifacts noblesse oblige for Xinyan the use of these 4 artifact sets receives a buff or bonus to increase 20% DMG Elemental Burst and after the earlier start of Elemental Burst increases 20% ATK for all group members.
Another alternative when using support artifacts can be to use 2 sets
noblesse oblige and 2 sets Bloodstained chivalry. Each of the two artifact sets deal an additional 20% DMG Elemental Burts and an additional 25% physical damage.
Preferred artifact stats are Crit Rate, Crit Damage, ATK% and Physical DMG Bonus for Chalice Artifacts (the glassy ones). So please look for artifacts with such a status, as we are focusing on Sub DPS here.
Talent upgrade Xinyan Sub DPS Genshin Impact
Since our focus is on making Xinyan a Sub-Dps, we don’t really need to increase the Dance of Fire (Normal Attack) talent. As a support, we just need to upgrade the Riff Revolution (Elemental Explosion) talent and continue with Sweeping Inbrance (Elemental Skill).
If you think it’s good enough for the prioritized talent, you can increase the Dance of Fire talent so that everything is evenly distributed. This is just a matter of priority, actually all talent needs to be upgraded, it’s just that upgrading should be prioritized first due to the problem of hard to get materials.
