It is your job to stir up your own strongest hero formation to achieve victory. At first you might only choose 1 hero type, but in the late game I recommend choosing a different hero type to fill the gap.

Of course, you can upgrade the heroes who compete in the arena on the condition that they must have the same three heroes (the stars must also be the same).
