OKEGUYS! Genshin Impact will announce Update 1.3 on February 3rd in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations.

This update brings new five-star characters, new bosses and a number of new events.

Report from XDA Developers, Monday (January 25th, 2021) Genshin Impact will have Xiao as a new five-star character. Of course, Genshin Impact players already know Xiao as one of Liyue’s watch adepts.

Xiao is an anemo character who uses a polearm as a weapon.

As a five-star character, Xiao will have his own event banner.

He will share the banner with Keqing as there are no new four-star characters in this update.

Although there are no new four-star characters in Update 1.3, miHoYo, as the developer of Genshin Impact, offers players the opportunity to receive four-star characters for free through the ‘Stand by Me’ special event.

All players who complete this event can choose one of six four-star characters, namely Xiangling (Pyro), Xinyan (Pyro), Beidou (Electro), Ningguang (Geo), Xingqiu (Hydro), and Chongyun (Cryo).

The Genshin Impact 1.3 update will also include a special Ley Line-based event. Through this event you can also get more items than usual.

However, there are also quite a few minor additions. Like photo-based events where you need to use the in-game camera tool to take photos of some objects in order to receive bonus primogems and other items.

In addition, there is also a new gadget called Parametric Transformer that can transform one element into another element. Don’t miss it guys!
