GAMEFINITY.ID, Jakarta – Riot Forge will be releasing Ruined King: A League of Legends Story on multiple platforms on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and the Epic Games Store in early 2021. This League of Legends (LoL) spin-off will be the debut version of the console franchise. Few details of the game were revealed by Riot Forge. Ruined King will later also be released for next-gen consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.

In addition to information about when the game started, Riot Forge also revealed some additional details about Ruined King. This single player RPG genre game will take place as Bilgewater and Shadow Isles on Runeterra, the planet of League of Legends. Riot Forge also revealed a list of League of Legends champions who will appear as playable characters in Ruined King, namely Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke.

There is currently no gameplay display for Ruined King: A League of Legends Story. Riot Forge promises more information on Ruined King will be released in December. The game will be the first game from the Riot Forge label, a division of Riot Games that was announced last year as part of a developer initiative to work with other developers to add new games and genres to the League of Legends universe. Ruined King was developed in collaboration with Airship Syndicate, the team behind Darksiders Genesis.

Riot Forge is also working on Convergence, a game developed in partnership with Double Stallion Games and released for consoles and PC. The release date of this last game has not yet been determined. Riot released the digital card game Legends of Runeterra in early 2021. The Open Beta of League of Legends: Wild Rift, a mobile game for Android and iOS, started on October 27th.
